It was interesting for me to listen back to this today, as I’m currently studying hard ahead of the assessment for my Restore Your Core teaching training. I missed reading some of the information properly and last week found myself in a panic when I realised exactly what I hadn’t done to prepare for the assessment phase.
As well as being an affront to my ego - I like to see myself as hard-working and ahead of the game when it comes to organisation - this scenario also left me with a choice. Should I take the perfectionist route and cram and work every spare minute available, or do I find some middle ground where I do what I can but don’t forego every single chance for rest and recovery either.
