A glow up for my online circles
Plus live call this Friday about All Fours | and a favour if you're a paid subscriber <3
Hello! I hope you’re well and have managed to carve out slivers of time to notice the leaves on the leaves on the trees turning, or even better, to walk outside and inhale the damp, mulchy smell of autumn. In this post I’m sharing some exciting news about my online circles, but before our next one (Samhain in two weeks time, on 29 October at 8pm GMT) I’ll be having a live conversation with three brilliant writers/women
, and about Miranda July’s latest hilarious, poignant and sexy novel, All Fours. You can join us this Friday at 7.30pm, or I’ll be sharing the replay afterwards. I’m so excited to talk more about the themes this brilliant book throws up - ageing, desire, losing and finding yourself, marriage, motherhood and friendship.First off, my online offering: I’m excited to show you a few improvements I’ve made. As well as a new name, I’ve made some tweaks that I hope make it easier to learn about the Celtic Wheel, and implement small changes into each day, cycle and season. Samhain - the portal into the darker half of the year - is the beginning of the Celtic year, so if you’ve been pondering joining us, now is the perfect time!
*drumroll* I present The Wheel, my offer for paid subscribers!
As part of your membership, you’ll receive:
an online circle every 6 weeks in line with the Celtic Wheel of the Year, a (reconstructed) Pagan calendar of festivals that mark the four major solar events - solstices and equinoxes - and the halfway points between them
more gentle, embodied movement and simple rituals in our circles rather than too much detail, so the teachings can land in your body as well as your brain
an in-depth post before each circle exploring the significance of that festival, with optional brief preparations for our upcoming circle
a short summary post a few days after the circle, to remind you what to take with you into the next cycle, and simple ways to do that
a post mid-cycle helping you connect with the season and remember your intentions in this period
When life is busy (which I’m pretty sure is the case for all of us), I know it’s hard to remember the small, simple teachings that help us, or find time to integrate them into your days. So with these extra small reminders and embodied practices, I hope it feels easier to keep this wisdom closer to you, and feel more anchored to the cycles around us.
If you want to hear the full details about when each circle is and what it involves, you can check out this post:
A favour:
If you’ve been to my circles and have good things to say about them, I’d so appreciate a few words or sentences that I could use as a testimonial. You could either DM, email me or comment here - thank you so much.
If you know anyone who might like to join us, I’d be so pleased if you could pass this post on.
That’s it I think! I’ll be adding a Samhain post next week for paid subscribers before our circle the week after, with some other writings coming in the next few weeks. Thank you for being here x
I really look forward to your online circles Chloe. I’ve found them interesting and informative. I haven’t had much previous experience of sharing circles and you supported me to feel comfortable in this context. I’ve been inspired by others’ openness and insight.
I’m looking forward to the circle evolving and sharing a deeper connection to the seasons with others.
Very happy for you to share any of this as a testimonial x
