Thin veils, dark goddesses and going to ground
Samhain, the portal into darkness [post now edited with the recording link]

Hello! A big welcome to you if you’re newly subscribed. I’m Chloe, a writer, postnatal doula, movement teacher and circle facilitator, and I’m delighted you’re here. As well as writing here on Substack, over the last year I’ve been building a community through online circles every 6 weeks, in line with the Celtic Wheel of the Year. At each circle I’ve been blown away by the insights and questions courageously offered by those who’ve attended. The Wheel is a community of compassionate, thoughtful women interested in the body, mindful/seasonal living and social justice. If this sounds like your kind of tribe, and you’d like to feel more connected to nature, other humans and your own intentions and longings, why not join us?
You can read more about my circles here, and if you’d like to try one for free you are very welcome - just drop me a DM and I’ll send you the Zoom link.
“Chloe’s circle sessions have been such a wonderful companion over the past year. They helped me anchor myself into the season and provided powerful journaling prompts that have brought up invaluable insights, alongside soothing body practices to regulate my nervous system. I’m so excited to join her for the next journey around the wheel this year.” - Christina
“I really look forward to your online circles Chloe. I’ve found them interesting and informative. I haven’t had much previous experience of sharing circles and you supported me to feel comfortable in this context. I’ve been inspired by others’ openness and insight. I’m looking forward to the circle evolving and sharing a deeper connection to the seasons with others.” - Miranda
“I find these circles nourishing and grounding. Even though they are online, or if I can’t attend live, I feel connected and present with the group and the themes. I appreciate hearing what’s going on for the other women present, it locates my own experience in another kind of cycle. I love the gentle and contemplative space Chloe creates. It opens up a compassionate pause in the month.” - Lizzie
